Nirankush Kumar

Nirankush has obtained his Masters degree in Sociology from the Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi. He has around 5 years of research administrative experience in premier Central Government Institutions such as Indian Agriculture Research Institute (IARI), New Delhi and BRIC-National Institute of Plant Genome Research, New Delhi. During his time at BRIC-NIPGR as a Scientific Administrator he managed the International Proteomics Society Conference which was held in 2023. Additionally, he has worked with the Ministry of Labour and Employment as a Field Investigator during the Covid pandemic time. He did his Bachelors in Political Science and International Relations from Delhi University in 2015. After completion of his bachelor's degree, he attempted for the UPSC Civil Service Examinations. In the meantime, he also participated in the reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) in 2014. He is currently working in the Centre For Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi under the supervison of Dr. Arnab Chanda from June 2025. His responsibilities range from managing the laboratory, procurement of scientific equipment and official administrative work of the lab accordingly.
