Pramod Yadav
About
Pramod Yadav is a Ph.D. scholar at the Center for Biomedical Engineering (CBME), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), India. His research interests span healthcare engineering, sports biomechanics, and tissue biomechanics, in which he integrates concepts from mechanical and biomedical engineering to address emerging challenges in human health and performance. Currently, his doctoral research is centered on Biomechanical Modeling for Safety and Performance Enhancement of Running Footwear, with particular emphasis on understanding the interactions between footwear design, human biomechanics, injury prevention, and athletic performance. He has contributed to peer-reviewed publications in international journals and at conferences. He is a co-author of two books, titled “Friction and Wear in Footwear” and “Athletic Footwear Technology”, published by Springer.
