Sayantani Ghosh
About
Sayantani Ghosh is a Ph.D. scholar at the School of Interdisciplinary Research (SIRe), Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), India. Her research interests include tissue engineering, material development & characterization, and biomechanical simulation, wherein she works with concepts bridging the fields of mechanical and biomedical engineering to address emerging challenges in defence and human health. Currently, her doctoral research objective is to Develop a Biofidelic Head Surrogate for Ballistic Evaluation. Her work focuses on developing ballistic simulants for skin, skull, and brain tissues and assembling them together for building a 3D head model for defence helmet testing.
