About

Dr. Siddhartha Dan completed his PhD (Biotechnology) from Dr B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, in 2026. His doctoral research focused on the in-house developed 3D printing system, which was employed to fabricate 4D scaffolds composed of naturally derived graphene derivatives and hydroxyapatite for femoral chondral bone regeneration in Sprague Dawley rats. Prior to his doctoral studies, he earned his M.Tech. (Biotechnology) from I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar in 2022 and B.Tech. (Biotechnology) from M.M. Deemed to be University, Mullana-Ambala in 2020. His bachelor's and master's research, conducted at the CBRN Defence, Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (DRDO), Delhi, focused on Radiation Decontamination, Graphene composites, Radiation dermatitis, Acute dermal toxicity, Prophylactic actions of Drugs, and Sprague Dawley rats. Currently, Dr Dan serves as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, under the mentorship of Dr Arnab Chanda. His current research focuses on the fabrication of artificial tissue simulants through 3D bioprinting with modified elastomeric inks and on modifying 3D printing systems for surgical training applications. He was awarded multiple young scientist awards from different institutions and the MIAZ Fellow degree by the International Association of Zoologists in 2020 in recognition of his academic and research contributions. He is also an active member of various professional scientific societies. In addition to his scientific contributions, Siddhartha has published a Five-Law series of principles that explore the fundamental concepts of atoms, time, transformation, and the nature of reality, reflecting his interdisciplinary interests.
