Sruti Thakur

Sruti is currently working as a Research Assistant in the Healthcare Engineering Lab at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, under the mentorship of Prof. Arnab Chanda. Her current research focuses on the application of computational and data-driven methods to biomedical engineering problems, with emphasis on hemodynamic analysis of cerebrovascular and cardiovascular flows. She obtained her M.Tech. degree in Clinical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras in 2026, where she worked under the supervision of Prof. S. Vengadesan and Prof. Abhijit Chaudhuri. Her master's research centered on the computational fluid dynamics investigation of cerebral blood flow in stenosed vascular geometries, involving simulation of hemodynamic parameters such as wall shear stress, oscillatory shear index, pressure gradients, and fractional flow reserve using patient-specific vascular models reconstructed from medical imaging data.
