Dr. Subhodip Chatterjee
About
Subhodip’s doctoral research was focused on injury diagnostics, particularly slip biomechanics and slip-risk assessment of different footwear under realistic conditions. After completing his Ph.D., he joined the National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Bengaluru, as a TIFR Postdoctoral Fellow in the E-Soft Bio Lab under the mentorship of Dr.Tapomoy Bhattacharjee. During his postdoctoral research, he primarily worked on soft-matter 3D printing using jammed microgel systems for the fabrication of artificial organ phantoms with biomechanical and ultrasound-mimicking properties. He is currently working as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Centre for Biomedical Engineering, IIT Delhi, under the mentorship of Prof. Arnab Chanda. His current research focuses on the fabrication of artificial tissue simulants through 3D bioprinting using modified elastomeric printing inks for surgical training and ballistic simulation scenario applications.
